KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 29): CIMB Research has maintained its Neutral rating on the plantation sector and said it was positive on Malaysia' s plans to start implementing the use of B7 biodiesel in stages starting Nov as this will boost the country' s usage of  palm  oil. In a nite Wednesday, CIMB Research analyst Ivy Ng said she estimates that the rollout could raise the country' s  palm  oil  demand by 263,000-390,000 tonnes per annum, or 1-2% of the total  palmoil  production in 2013. &ldquo As this equates to an additional monthly crude  palm  oil  (CPO) demand of only 22k-33k tonnes,

Is it possoble that the shortist do a day trade?  i.e sell it down and cover it up on the same day?

A check in the SGX websites, saw the shortist # growed as I compared 2 day between 24 OCt - 3.851M, and 27 OCt - 8.198M, 27 Oct almost double the day of 24 Oct.  So can I said, shorting interest up, however in tandem with buying (Golden Agri went up yesterday) ? What a wired situation!!!

Or, is this the tactic by shortists to drive up price before they drive down to achieve max. profit????

Shortists numbers reduced from 14.355Mil (17 Oct) to 7.7Mil (20 Oct). Overall transactions vol was about 50% to that of Friday. However, buyers coud have coming in but try to bargain at lower entry price.

It may be good time to TP and close your positions for shortists.

This is my personal view, please do your own due diligence before you act!
