The recent unaudited condensed Interim Financial Statements For The Year Ended 31 December 2022 may be just a peek. They likely would come out with an audited statement plus some announcements regarding their performance, future plans etc. in a full year report next few mths. The weak prices were due to mkt forces. Today' s sudden last hr surge may be due SBB or big players coming in. As as this time 7.50pm no Sgx announcement on SBB yet. Maybe later.

it seems that bw is happy with current price - it cld have been more shareholder frenly - give div, do SBB, etc but no. not sure what is the intent but like that, won' t it be better to privatize ? wonder about their pay package for the FY.... |

Yes property companies could face some problems . This should not pose a problem for Best World in exporting its products to China. However , its China subsidiary company has to pay a bit of tax for declaring dividends to Singapore Holding Company.

I got this funny feeling, this year, some industries easier to take money out of China, some much harder to take out of China. Eg. given what happened to China' s property sector re debt crisis last (few?) years, I suspect many property counters were not allowed (or under extreme scrutiny) to repatriate money out of China, like want to check your 20 year history kind of scrutiny as per mark mobius. | ||||
