Worth trying as before 1 for 5 shares announcement, there was a rally before the halt and price was at $0.85. If it follows what happen to SIA (similar scenario as backing is Temasek), Ex rights price should open around $0.30. Hence, if you buy the shares tomorrow at $0.52 And intend to subscribe to the 5 rights at $0.20. Your average per share will be $1.52/6 = $0.253. You could Likely make a profit of $0.50/share. Furthermore, there is good chance that Temasek is trying to merge Keppel O&M and Sembcorp Marine in future and this will be the best time for them to do so by getting over 50% voting shares. Hence, I believe that they would need to buy up. Good luck, this is my theory and I do believe it that this is an opportunity for those who understands what the grand plans are and what is needed to make it happen.

If oil correct, this one down again. You can study ezion, Ezra etc chart. Not saying will uplorry but can see around when can rebound.

There are currently 2.09bn open shares, and with a 5-1 rights issue they are planning on issuing 10.45bn new shares. By my math 10.45bn new shares that cost 2.1bn sgd equates to 0.2 per share. The only question that remains in my mind is what will the date of record be. Thewiseone      ( Date: 16-Jun-2020 11:55) Posted: You only have to pay if you intend to buy the rights for the shares to defend your current position and share of the company. The rights are renouncable mensing you can sell them at 0.2 per share. If you currently have a position with 10,000 shares you are entitles to 50,000 rights. If you chose to see them you would get back 10k. For sure the value of your existing 10,000 shares would be greatly reduced but depending on your average held position price you could still be in profit. Even if value of the existing shares drops to say 0.2 also ex rights that is still another 2k bringing total proceeds to 12k. If your average position is at more than 1.2 per share yes you lose money but otherwise seems like the best of a bad situation.
