To setup a mobile company cost more than an instant company company. There are tons of factors why stock price rises. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yes. Agree with gregorsamsa. Far too many factors come into play when companies compete against each other in their industry. It may never be a clear cut picture to analyse which company may win over the long run as businesses and their environments are not rigid but are fluid which constantly changes. Even strong brands can get displaced by other brands as they lose their competitive edge if you dig hard enough into the case studies of past large businesses and corporations that have fallen. Nothing is to be taken for granted. However, there are also examples of long lasting companies that have lasted for more than a century and is still doing well in modern times such as companies like General Electric which was founded in 1889. It is by no means an easy feat to achieve this long lasting endurance through challenging and ever changing business environments and constant competitions with competitors. There must have been the right things that an enduring company as such have done and inculcated in their culture and way of doing business. The test of a good business is whether it can last through time when all others of its peers have long gone. Strong branding and barrier to entry are just two factors affecting the competitive edge a good business must have. It takes alot to build a good instant coffee brands. It has been the same few players for some time. For mobile phones, there has been so many new players. Many years ago, who would have though motoralla and sony ericcson would be displaced by apple or samsung?
