x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	the price up more likely due to hk gov annouce relax of covid-19 social distancing rule and open to travelers from apr etc. that has removed some doubt about the ability of retail chain survival even those listed food chain. indirectly a boost to mall from possible increased vacancy. removal of uncertainty is a boost to confident. many listed hk food business also enjoy some gain after the annoucement.

MCT has said before the offer price will not change unless MNACT unreasonably distributes its assets. Then distributing a normal div is really, normal. So by right or left, the market should price in the div and push the price beyond 1.1949, to 1.23 or 1.24 considering a 4 or 5c div is coming in Jun/Jul.  For some reason, the market decided it was not worth it. Now the cash option is put forward, suddenly the market loves it and decided to push it past 1.1949 yesterday. So in theory without the cash option, one is still getting the same thing. It' s just that it' s not foolproof cause everything else depends on MPACT' s price later. In the long run, I am very sure it will be fine. But for those who want out, maybe not until this cash option comes along, which IMHO still undervalues MNACT. Like I said, is there any difference in the first place? Apparently yes to Quarz. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	1.23 touched. This was last Sep' s NAV I think. For some reason they decided to do another property valuation in Oct for this merger talk and the NAV dropped to 1.1949. I was telling myself if the Oct NAV was higher, we probably wouldn' t have heard about it. Conspiracy theorist at work.

Traditionally the acquirer will get hammered don' t think it is any difference here. However, for LT,make no difference. I am sure if you ask all the experts, some will say MCT is better some MNACT. So just sit tight lor. I jumped back in this morning after the open to buy back all I sold last week.

The worst part is why did MNACT agree to not seek from other buyers? It' s obviously not looking after MNACT SH' s interests but the sponsor' s.
