Medically yes But for SIA to fly out we need open skies  Delta is preventing this because of fear and perception  SIA will drop to $4.80 and then it' s a buy

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/09/07/briefing/risk-breakthrough-infections-delta.html But even with Delta, the overall risks for the vaccinated remain extremely small. As Dr. Monica Gandhi, an infectious-disease specialist at the University of California, San Francisco,  wrote on Friday, &ldquo The messaging over the last month in the U.S. has basically served to terrify the vaccinated and make unvaccinated eligible adults doubt the effectiveness of the vaccines.&rdquo Neither of those views is warranted. |

More likely to be $4.6 and below before it will find a support level. Unless the Bbs want to support it and keep pumping funds to block or cushion the fall.  Let' s see if there will be a lockdown. A lockdown is the most appropriate to bring the infection rate down fast and control it when the daily infection rate is currently at 3xx and expected to reach at least 2000 daily Now scientists are clueless why there are more vaccinated people getting infected than non-vaccinated people.  https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-08-21/science-can-t-keep-up-with-virus-creating-worry-for-vaccinated The era is no longer LKY era of caring for its citizens and adopting strategies for the best interest of the people. The era now is taking the easier way out to ensure that they do not lose face and try to package it well to look good that has some leaking holes here and there. When the leaking holes cause flood, the game of cha cha and flip prata will start. The blame will be on the pandemic, not on the mis-steps that they took. Lolxx.  Right now, We are still able to control the situation to bring down infection rate but they will want to take it as endemic  . More people and companies will suffer. So it will be a very long route to recovery....  Only if we still have talents like LKY and his team, then we can expect a shorter route to recovery...If LKY is still around, matters will be better managed and singapore will navigate out this very fast.  Definitely will not bankrupt with ah gong support.  But, Value investing will soon be bo value to invest. It will just get cheaper when the reality struck with more devaluation for shareholders expected and when the MCB matures.

First SIA flight carrying vaccinated travellers from Germany to land on WednesdayA pilot travel scheme to allow vaccinated travellers to enter Singapore without quarantine will take off as planned on Wednesday. The first flight under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), SQ325, is expected to depart Frankfurt in Germany at 10pm local time on Tuesday, and land at Changi Airport at 4.25pm on Wednesday. Vaccinated travellers from these two countries will go through up to four Covid-19 polymerase chain reaction tests in lieu of quarantine, and have to adhere to other conditions such as taking designated VTL flights to Singapore. Singapore unilaterally opened the VTL to travellers from Brunei and Germany as a start. Brunei remains closed to leisure travel, but as Germany has been open to travellers from the Republic since October last year, it means Singapore residents can use the VTL scheme to travel without quarantine in either country. Singapore Airlines (SIA), which will operate three VTL flights weekly from Frankfurt and two VTL flights weekly from Munich, told The Straits Times it has seen an increase in bookings. It declined to give further details, which it said were commercially sensitive. Both business- and economy-class tickets for the first VTL flight from Frankfurt to Singapore were still available when ST checked the SIA website on Tuesday afternoon. German carrier Lufthansa will also offer two VTL flights weekly from Frankfurt to Singapore, starting Sept 16. Travel booking platform Expedia said it has seen almost a 10-fold increase in Singapore residents looking for flights to Munich and Frankfurt, following the announcement of the VTL. But prices for the flights have remained stable, said Lavinia Rajaram, head of communications for Expedia in the Asia-Pacific. She said they could rise if demand grows towards the year-end holidays. In anticipation of growing demand for overseas travel, some travel agents have started working on tour packages to Germany. Travel agent Chan Brother Travel said it has launched an 11-day tour for travel under the VTL scheme, with precautions such as a reduced tour group size of 20 travellers. Expedia' s Ms Rajaram said, however, that demand for travel to Singapore from Germany has not picked up. " This is an indication that German travellers may not be prepared for long-haul travel, after just concluding their summer travels," she said. The Singapore Tourism Board said that there were 381,000 visitor arrivals from Germany in 2019 - the 15th-largest source of arrivals. Independent aviation analyst Brendan Sobie from Sobie Aviation said he did not expect the VTL to generate a significant volume of inbound traffic. This is because of factors such as more attractive tourism options for Germany residents and Brunei' s borders being largely closed. Noting that there will be just 10 VTL flights weekly from Germany and Brunei, Mr Sobie said: " It' s not going to move the needle in terms of traffic. " It' s a step in the right direction, but not significant and not sufficient enough to start a recovery of the Singapore aviation and travel sectors."   |

agree bankrupt is out of question. a lot depend s on whether CB 2 will come or not. if so, sia breaking all the way to $4-4.6 is likely as it affects sin economically. advance estimate 3rd quarter gdp results will be 21 oct.  my view is there will be a lot of play till then.

agree that it will be heading south in the short term. Likely to head down to at least $4.6 unless the BBs is supporting it at $4.90 or have other plans for it.  Definitely, it will not go bankrupt. Have ah gong backing.... If SIA tank, singapore will also tank...

With so many bad news on covid situation, esp here: 1/  may be 1000 cases soon 2/  return to circuit breaker 3/ maintain border opening measure  4/ coming 3rd booster shot... i think sia will fly south first unless ah gong and BB have different plans. |

my view is 5.7-6$ will depend on results of 3rd quarter gdp, border opening of sin vs other countries and virus mutations. a long way to go. meanwhile, a lot of support to be anchored at 5.02 to 5.03. should be ah gong in action. |
