TEE Land IPO may raise at least $57.5m
115 million new shares to be offered 20-30% could be for public tranche REAL estate developer TEE Land may be able to raise at least $57.5 million from its initial public offering (IPO). The company said yesterday that 115 million new shares will be offered at a date to be announced, following the lodgement of its preliminary prospectus. About 20-30 per cent of the shares could be for the public tranche. TEE Land, a subsidiary of TEE International, has said its share price will be a minimum of 50 cents each, which means potential gross proceeds of at least $57.5 million if the shares are fully subscribed. The stabilising US and European economies, as well as a strong outlook for the Singapore property market, were among the reasons for listing at this juncture. |

Latest buzz surround the stock is probably due to its recent eligibility-to-list its real-estate business (Tee Land) from SGX, , upon conditions as follows- 1) at least $20m raised in total from public/ private investors from its listing 2) the price/share of Tee Land, has to be at least $0.50, with a market cap of at least $150m Upon a spinoff, Tee International will be able to realize the value of their properties, which the Group intends to fund its Myanmar cement business, as well as a special dividend for the remaining proceeds. Tee Int'l has intentions to hold at least 70% stake in Tee Land, which it sees as a valuable source of future earnings. Tee International's historical dps of 2.35¢ (including special div which Tee has been giving the past 2 years) gives an implied yield of 6.0% dividend (using the current price of $0.390), relative to its engineering/ construction peers (average yield of ~2%), or property developer peer Sim Lian with a historical yield 5.8%. On its Myanmar cement business, Tee Int'l last signed an MOU (9 Nov 2012) with Ayeyarwaddy Cement- a subsidiary of A1 Group, to set up a JV-company to develop and operate a fully integrated cement plant to manufacture portland cement for sale in Myanmar. Expected completion of the JV to be formed by 31 Jul 2013. There is no SOTP done on the counter yet, although would not be surprised if markets begin to price in a higher STOP on back of a successful spin off on Tee Land |

friend, i also dont know any impact on company if any. But of course any company's spokesperson will ally fear and say its minimal or no impact. One thing i know is the authorities takes time to dig or investigate if they wish, for eg, take the case involving the CNB & Civil Defence guys. A police investigation may take 2 to 3 years to close case too. But i think its going to reward you richly if you are high risk taker as i predict the share price to hit 0.45 cts in a years' time. cheers |

but the CAD investigation focus on the period from July 1, 2008 to March 31,2009. I don't think any major impact on the company right? again tat's my view only.

no problem friend, honestly i observed this counter for a month, i wanted to get for its high dividend yield. but on researching, found that the CAD probe its not over just that no sound no news or further updates. If you read analysts' reports, they dont mention this. Im not saying it will, but it just may. Honestly i like this counter and the mgmt style, investors ' oriented and regional expansion plans.
