ttworld, you should discuss or counter my views instead.
Today the main BB created greed to make the FOMO uncles or smaller BBs chase, as again and again.

BBs laundried 1.37 and 1.38 for 2 days already. Buy sell, sell buy own shares to lure retailers to buy. Retailers already broke because the bought so much by averaging down from sky high prices. That is why the volumn gets lower and lower.
For the first time, I took a look of SBS Transit today. It is a salted fish with 29.8 lots traded today. Do you thinl the gov would allow it to be listed indefinitely and hold dividend parties with tax-payers' money twicw a year forever? This Zoom Bee has had a lot of hot air but the shares kept dropping. What if a black swan sufdenly flies in?

Gen Tan, everybody knew. It was in the newspapers. That was why BBs pumped from 1.35 to 1.39 on Monday and slowly unloaded to the retailers 1.39, 1.38, 1.37 and the retailers averaged down all the way.
This NZ contract is a joke. Potential profit is $S2.5m a year for 8 years. 🥱

ComfortDelGro commences rail services in NZ, replaces previous operatorMainboard-listed ComfortDelGro Corporation commenced operations of New Zealand' s largest rail network, the Auckland Rail Franchise (ARF), on Monday (Jan 17). This was done through Auckland One Rail (AOR), a 50:50 joint venture between ComfortDelGro and Australian rail operator and maintenance company UGL Rail Services.

AOR took over the entire issued share capital of the network' s previous operator, Transdev Auckland Limited, for NZ$10,100 (S$9,330). This was fully satisfied in cash and funded through internal resources, the company said.

Immediately after completion, ComfortDelGro and UGL each increased their respective shareholding in AOR to NZ$5 million. This was in accordance with the requirements of the Auckland Transport.

The takeover of Transdev has no material impact on ComfortDelGro' s net tangible assets or earnings per share for the year to Dec 31, 2022, the company said in a bourse filing.

AOR was awarded a S$1.13 billion contract to operate rail services in Auckland in August last year. The contract was for an initial term of 8 years, with an opportunity for further extensions. It comprises all passenger train operations across the ARF network, including the operation and maintenance of stations, the management and maintenance of rolling stock, customer services, safety and security management, as well as industrial relations management.

This is the first overseas heavy rail venture by a Singapore company, and ComfortDelGro' s first in New Zealand, the company said. The commencement of rail operations in Auckland also marks " a new chapter in the ComfortDelGro growth story" , said chairman Lim Jit Poh.

" It signals our move into the international rail scene - 18 years after we began rail operations in Singapore through the North East Line, which was the world' s first fully automated underground line," Lim added.

So, based on this " Great business model" ....More subsidy to be applied if more PHCs register with Grab, then, first thing first is to stop the growth on PHC. Next, is to reduce the registered PHC to break-even point that stop ' bleeding" . Or increase the fee on PHC rides. And, that eventually also benefit CDG because of losing the competition edge. Hehehe..... Sound logically to do it?  Hahaha.....    |

Oh.... Ya, PHC is private hire car and that does not own by Grab. But, the more they register with Grab and make transaction with Grab, then, more trips and that means more subsidy to the PHC drivers, all from the shareholders' money. Hehehe... | ||||

Fatpanda, PHV companies dont have any fleet. I know you have a car. You can also register it as a PHV to rob the Zoom Bee off its passengers 😁

The more PHC Grab owns, probably the bigger " lobang" in his pocket. Shareholders' cash slips away because ot their " great business model" . Hahaha.....
