In a yr est cash bal likely shoot to US$310 or hi-er. Konsi say :The Group continues to maintain a high cash position to make investments and diversify its businesses, given that financing for coal related companies is currently restricted. ( doubt so la, mo like for TO delist, so offeror can grab the huge cash box, common sense). Geo will be TO play from now, no mo Div play as past. BBs will likely cont to collec until enough to pump, so don hurry to buy/sell. Las yr, notice of div pay date was 12 nov, xd 22, and pay 29, u may wan to dbl ch. GEMS has a PE ratio of about 5.  The offer price should be at least double current price, otherwise it will not be deemed as fair.  The outgoing CEO has often mentioned the share price is grossly undervalued in the past ... I have a feeling that there is some disharmony between Chairman Charles and the board after he got released from prison (a short sentence for drink driving). Dhamma Surya sold a chunk of shares, and then Tung Kum Hon resigned. Dividend also less generous. I also noticed that this quarter they stopped saying in the media release that Geo' s shares are undervalued because they have USDXXXm of cash, EV/EBITDA is so low, PE is so low etc. Maybe really want to privatise.

Coal is Indonesian business and we will be foolish to think that we can do better than the Indonesians. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	funny is one thing, but being absurd is another. it is akin and  similar to our Mr. Leong MW in parliament. actually i am looking fwd to April next year.  their Div of 0,01 actually i expected already. in fact this is a very good move from company. with inflation moving up, they are very well position being debt free and business is still robust. keeping cash in pocket is right thing to do. Perhaps he is being disappointed by the div declaration himself n being sarcastic manner. In a few days, even though with smaller div declared, ppl will quickly adds up the updated cash pile n nav, that shd gives the share price better support, and also stronger mandate to buyback if necessary. This may turn out to be a more poaitive stance, give div annually ard 10 % to 15%, yet cash pile n nav on the uptick every quarter. Rarely find such yield.

With higher ASP due to lower DMO commitment, forward forecast is quite encouraging.
