Gold price is traded by contracts... Not really physical buying... Even if it were to shoot up today, it does not mean ppl are rushing in to buy..... Search Kitco for more gold movements. When gold hit almost 1900 years ago, everyone was optimistic about it reaching 2500 or even 5000..... But look what happened? Personally, I have bought physical gold too when it bottom down and sell back when it goes up a bit... It is so unpredictable so I rather not too optimistic... Gold price can be slammed down real hard suddenly... Just my 2 cents view | ||||

My answer to your qns is yes. If brexit did not happen, then gold price will plunge which i believe will be short term.......long term wise, gold will still shine as countries is keeping pace with one another in printing fiat to settle debt. Don`t forget the next major event is US president election, which is more worrying than Brexit.
