do not enter for now probably as commodities are falling like a rock ! austalian to sgd have fallen around ~20% to 30% ! meaning there is no demand or supply outstripping demand.... this counter golden agri will continue downtrend. no tp set for now as it have already reach below my earlier tp of $0.35 sgd. |

Processed food is perhaps the most damaging aspect of most people&rsquo s diet, contributing to poor health and chronic disease. As the negative health effects from trans fats have been identified and recognized, the agricultural and food industry have scrambled to come up with new alternatives. Partially hydrogenated soybean oil has been identified as the main culprit, and for good reason. Unfortunately, saturated fats are still mistakenly considered unhealthy by many health &ldquo experts,&rdquo so rather than embracing truly healthful tropical fats like coconut oil, which is mostly grown outside the US. Many brands of corn oil are derived from corn grown worldwide that is genetically modified for resistance to herbicides and pesticides, according to Soyatech. Genetically modified corn is relatively new to human and animal diets. The short- and long-term health consequences from consumption of genetically modified corn are not entirely known. Research by Joel Spiroux de Vendomois published in the " International Journal of Biological Science" in 2009 reports that consumption of genetically modified corn causes toxicity of the liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, spleen and heart in rats. The western countries keep on harping on palm oil because they are selling soy oil, corn oil, their agenda is to speak bad about others' product. If their corn oil is so good, then obese rate cannot so frightening! |

1 bottle of palm oil because palm oil can withstand high temperature and does not vaporise so easily to cause stickly oily floor and shelves in the kitchen. |

Palm oil price could be bottoming out. There arent new steep lows, the lows are getting very gradual now, and eventually will go into the consolidation phase then... boom up phase. :) Patience pays. |

Final decision must be based on your own reading of the company. These analyst are also humans. Also take note, they don' t buy with their own money and their views are usually long term. I do recall a time when GAR hit rock bottom. 0.16 I think. And back then all these guys gave negative calls on GAR, And when the price went back above 0.80, thye all rush to call buy. Having said that, it' s been quite a long time since I saw GAR below 0.40. May be a good price to buy in at now.

Golden Agri-Resources raised to " buy" , target lifted to 60 cents by OSK DMG Date: 03/07/2015 Price Target : 0.60 Price Call : BUY SINGAPORE (July 3): OSK DMG has upgraded Golden Agri-Resources to " buy" from " neutral" , saying the palm oil producer is expected to turn in stronger earnings in the quarters ahead. Its oilseeds business turned profitable in 4Q2014, marking the second straight quarter of improvement, while its biodiesel business could get a boost from Indonesia' s plans to shore up the biodiesel sector, OSK DMG said. Golden Agri-Resources manages nearly half a million hectares of oil palm plantations in Indonesia. It has evolved to become one of the industry&rsquo s largest palm oil producing companies. The company owns 161 oil palm estates, with total planted area amounting to 472,800 hectares and the average age profile notching at 14 years. Roughly 75% of the estates are at prime age, which offers a solid foundation for growth in the foreseeable future. As at the end of 2014, the firm generates more than 80% of its total revenue from the palm and laurics segment, with the rest primarily coming from the plantation and palm oil mills segment, and the oilseeds segment. Chief executive officer Franky Widjaja stressed that the industry' s long term fundamentals remain firm. " While there may be resistance from the current large soybean production and low crude oil prices, slower crude palm oil output growth and the biodiesel policy in Indonesia bode well for future prices. " Moreover, we view that global demand of palm oil both for food and non-food continues to be strong, especially in developing countries," Mr Widjaja said. |
