Why are investors suddenly ramping up UOB price at the expense of DBS? 
It' s nearly $2 above DBS price.
Are they all blindly hoping UOB will increase dividends?
Or do they know something that we don' t or they' re just gambling?

so bias towards up for CNY rally until before CNY holiday

OCBC will announce its result on the 22nd Feb Fri before the market opens.
As for the XD , it will be known during the dividend announcement on 22nd .
Base on half year of 20c ,  I expect 2018 full yr dividend to be 20c or more ( last year was 19) .

 Alert Admin 		Dividend date will only be decided after AGM whereby the shareholders will approve or reject the  distribution of dividend. Must hold until ex-dividend date in order to receive the dividend.

However the facts are OCBC has good if not v gd result for the first 3 qtrs. Coming result shld be early Feb ...which shld b good too ( cant suddenly drop )  Further ....dividend is expected to be better then the 19c. ( Q2 alrdy offer 20c) / I am not surprise it will see 12 or even 13 closer to that date/
