Actually, last week institutions net buy $42.5m. That was after knowing Sep we may see the 1st rate cut. So this 2 days they selling at a lost? |

May not be true coz institutions will rotate out of banking stocks in anticipation of rate cut. So it may hold at lower levels or drop a bit more. As a long term retail investors I will buy buy buy if it comes down below $35

There is some effort to push down the price. Below 37 has to be this week or never....haha. It is not easy to go below that, let alone below 36. Probably after results out, 38 will be history. |

I like what you are saying. Absolutely love it. Those who believe rate cut will stop this money making beast is truly mistaken. Besides do these people really think fed will cut rates drastically and risk inflation again? No chance And I sure hope there is a stock split as i think $40 is too high for most retail investors. No need to split 1:10, 1:5 is good enough. That' ll be $8 a share which is reasonable.

4 things : 1) despite powell saying its not viable to hold the rates too high for a long period, but the treasury yields are still holding well 2) investors are all expecting a special div 3) heard from the gravevine that dbs might split if its sp reaches 40 bucks, presumably 1 into 2, thus make it more " affordable" for those who wish to invest in dbs. those hoping to see 20 bucks might have their dreeams fulfilled. 4) paradoxically speaking, the high gets higher, thats has always been the case for any stock in the mkt. |
