If assuming Hyflux is now already bankrupt, who is going to pay for the continuing cashburn of Tuaspring for the next 8? years life of the gas contract? Suing an already bankrupt Hyflux will get you nowhere. PUB will not want to put this liability on their books at the expense of taxpayers, esp now that Sembcorp stepped up to tank this in a bid with what I assume has a reasonable risk-reward ratio.  Won' t be surprise if Semcorps bid varies in tandem to Tuaspring' s cashburn. The longer it drags out, the lower the bid.
