Just announced a strategic coorporation with China National Integrated Circuit Industrial Fund(subsidiary of CDB managing 120B rmb).
Though all arrangements, restructuring actions done by CDB will only impact CNT performance in long term, but bits and pieces of news come out from CNT will generally be good to lift the stock price. (first to break 12c then 18c ). CDB need to do many more jobs to bring CNT into a consistent profitable company , till then it share price should go beyong. Vested, doydd.

It is hard to believe that the most powerful policy bank from China wants to own a penny stock in Singapore ! The only logical explaination is that they want to make use of this vehicle to attract international investors to participate in China urbanization. To achieve it goal, they have no choice eccept to do some wonders on CNT !

yes , dual listing status. CNT is indirectly a China SOE in singapore.
fundamentally has changed since CDB took over , need to be patient for them to do more jobs. this stock is for longhual ! looking beyong... DYODD.

To bet on China New Town is nothing more than betting on the controlling share holder CDB -- China Development Bank.
Being one of the biggest policy bank in China , few can cast doubt on the financial musle, resouces, abilities and experiences of CDB. Announced on Sgx yesterday that CDB has just provided an unconditional guarantee loan of 260 mil for CNT. CDB goal is to build CNT as the leading new town developer in China. |
