Same outcome in the end Mirach suspended and players arrested Once Sgx mas mark a stock, that stock is gone SGX RegCo again urges caution when dealing in Mirach Energy shares LYNETTE TAN NOV 5, 2019 07:05 PM SINGAPORE Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) has once more urged investors and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of Mirach Energy, flagging that a small group of individuals was responsible for nearly 90 per cent of the buy volume of the stock over about a month's period. It first did so on Sept 24, after which Mirach's share price fell, only to rise significantly again. Between Sept 25 and Nov 5, the share price shot up from 14 Singapore cents to a high of 37 Singapore cents. During that time, SGX RegCo queried Mirach on the unusual movements of its share price, first on Oct 18 and again on Nov 5. Both times, Mirach responded to say it was unaware of any information or possible explanation for the trading. That the unusual share trading in Mirach has "continued relatively unabated is of concern", SGX RegCo said on Tuesday evening. It has determined that a single omnibus trading account - purportedly backed by four individual trading accounts - accounted for 88.7 per cent of the buy volume in Mirach between Oct 7 and Nov 5. The regulator has also directed the relevant trading member to place trading restrictions on those four accounts in respect of Mirach's shares. In addition, SGX RegCo has referred the matter to the authorities for their "necessary actions". Mirach, which is on the SGX watch-list, was granted a 15-month extension in April to exit the list by June 5, 2020. The company is on the watch-list under both the financial entry criteria and the minimum trading price criteria. Its business units are engaged in oil and gas investments and operations, property and construction, as well as the development and management of agricultural land. For the full year ended Dec 31, 2018, Mirach reported a net profit of S$91,000, versus a loss of S$9.52 million a year ago. The counter closed at 25 Singapore cents on Tuesday, down 3.85 per cent or one cent. |

It' s about 66% loss of capital from its peak in just a little more than a month. As I always said, solid earnings need to come in first before value talk. If got earning then at least can peg a valuation to stock, whether high or low is subjective, but solid earning can stand the test of time better. Now without earnings, any diamond talk collaboration talk is useless. Worst if it involves illegal play. Again, take care.

Even Sgx noticed the rise in price fr Nov to Dec and the drop in price fr Dec to Jan.... It is a genuine investigation ...they do not issue Trade with Caution for fun.... If everything is ok price will not drop to this level...investors and traders also know

Let' s see how long the counter can remain open for trading next week on Mon,Thurs and Fri and beyond. Yesterday trading was scary....first low vol and volatile then sudden drop fr 0.180 to 0.135 before recovering to 0.150. A strange trading session....

SgxReg hv not release any news on their investigation... Only Metech clear themselves If really it is only the mkt traders that caused the up & down swing then next week before & after the Tiger year,Mon & Thurs onwards the Roar may begin....pushing down & up again...price may recover over the weeks Traders will hv a field time....if price continue to go downwards investigation may not be over yet Wait & see.... | ||||

Most plausible reason is using margin to play left right Center with the players and then when price crashed, margin call issued
The ones keep buying and announced whether got genuine dollar to dollar to finance the shares. If not, sell down And the volume suggests more selldown in coming days next week. Those left right center volumes are in 5 digit total volume So more selldown on the way |

Probably shortist coming into the pic... the Company just made announcements...not great anouncements but also related to lab-grown diamonds. With " EYES" on them, i believe the board of directors and sponsor will be ensure all is factual before putting it out. |
