x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The company just made a purchase of 55m purchase. The social distancing measure will cut the sitting of the Coffeeshop and eatery by half. Lower sitting capacity mean the ability to sell food and drink will be affected. Own stalls and rental from stalls will be affected. Beside there is an overhang of millions of shares at 25c which come as a part of the purchase effectively share overhang. Foreign workers are affected due to covid,can' t come Singapore work and higher cost of accommodation due to covid. I hope the boss is smart enough to renegotiate the price they paid. The dynamic or the merit of the deal had somehow change since Feb.

Seems like little risk, as kongsi has been very consistent in giving half yearly div. Good for those who are satisfied in receiving good div every 6 months or so, and not in speculative counters which require constant monitoring. Treat it as an investment with regular income, and not as stressful speculation, which is no good for the heart lah. Even a half yearly div from Kopi Kim is higher than the highest annual interest rate from any bank. Anyway from the past year record, Q1 result should be out very soon. Last year it was almost immediately after xd. Think can expect respectable earnings lah, and maybe better div in their Q2 and Q4 results, as seems from their div trending lah.

If tdy can get at 23.5c, yld will be 5.96% or almost 6% liow. Good for long keeps in anticipation of half yearly good div payout lah.

If  buy at current of 24c, and keep for 2 months until ex, div given will be equiv to 3.5% for 2 months.  Compared to bank that give best interest of 2% per annum, one will only get about 0.33% for 2 months short term. No brainer to park it in Kimly to get like 10 free kopi drinks, compared to one miserable cup from bank lah. Just kopi for thought!

Good and cheap buy at this early stage of price and div uptrend, just opinion. lailai      ( Date: 28-Nov-2019 07:21) Posted: Think BBs are buzy collecting at 24c, by putting a heavy lid at 24.5. Payment of final div, as of last yr was on 20 Feb, that is < 3 months. Assuming if one gets an interest payment of 0.84c in 3 months, then extrapolating to 12 months, a yr' s interest would be 3.36c. At 24c price, the equiv interest rate would then be 14%. WOW!!! No wonder there was such heavy accumulation ytd. Think when BBs collect enough of 24c, they will lift the lid higher bit by bit, say to 24.5, 25.0, .... even to 35.
