Agree.
Why would OCBC willingly reduce its NAV and profit base, especially since owning GE is strategically valuable? GE contributes to OCBC&rsquo s income and diversification. Indeed, only a minority of shareholders might push for this. Most instutitional funds will prefer OCBC to retain stable earnings rather than distribute its crown jewel.

Will not get $16.44 + $2.50 if that happens OCBC BV and profits will be eroded when that happens , and its share price will drop to align with its new worth . But , most likely will be a " nett increase" for shareholders when they add up their OCBC and GE holdings .
