x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The firming up CPO px has not materialised, n seems not likely to happen in the near future.  A few mths ago, with EN looming I think quite a few of us were pinning on an increase in CPO px to spur GA on.  Unfortunately, it seems to have joined other commodities in sinking lower.  Now, we are not even sure if there' s gonna be an EN-induced supply crunch 12 mths down the line.  So, for those of us who might have been misplaced in our earlier bulishness in GA, it' s time to re-assess our position.  lingua101      ( Date: 11-Aug-2015 11:50) Posted: Sell down again today?

x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	Just do a simple and quick figure. Golden total asset is 14billion, total liability is 5.8Billion, total equity is 8.8Billion, biological asset is 7.9billion. So question come in, that time biological asset gain was recorded at CPO record high, now CPO price is half compared at that time, how the biological asset shall be adjusted now? bear in mind, till now it never adjust.  Think about it, expecially those keep using NAV to judge Golden Agri real value.  I took profit from my short but i will come back again to short. earlybird14      ( Date: 30-Jul-2015 17:33) Posted: I my opinion, 60 to 80 cents will never be hit. The net profit achieved in the past was due to good CPO price and Biological asset gain. Golden Agri is not able to record biological asset gain anymore which was the one time gain in that period for all her Palm tree plantation. Even EN come in cause supply issue, CPO back to highest level, Golden Agri will not be able to record the same profit anymore. The biological asset gain which was recorded in the past will be a time bom to Golden Agri if it will be made used by shortsellers like Iceberg or muddy water.  So, i won' t be surprise, the arrow is moved from noble group to palm plantation companies which are listed in SGX in the future. Golden Agri which is still valued with 4.3Billion has a lot of meat for shortseller. In fact, I suspect the plan has started, just the attack will be stronger when breakthrough 30cents.  Just my guessing.
