x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Looking at the historical chart, the price had dropped steeply and signicantly (50%) over two months due to the swine disease and weaker demand and   back to where it was a year ago. Setback is inevitable.   Quoted and extract fm their financial report: While cyclical and macroeconomic factors are beyond the Group&rsquo s control, the management will continue to focus on areas where it can influence, including building on its strong business fundamentals and leveraging the strength of its diversified and vertically integrated business model to navigate the industry cyclicality. The Group will strive to continually improve its operational efficiency and stay the course in establishing itself as one of the most efficient and lowest cost industrialised protein producers in the emerging markets that it operates in.  IMHO,   the drop seems overdone/overshot   and pbbly already priced in all the negatives that wl impact them unless further unforseen deterioration.   Mkt is fwd looking and we knew that these woes are not permanent and wl be blown away just like bird flu etc.. In conjunction with the active buying back of shares fm the Co, it signify that the shares is at a discount and also inject confidence in it' s shares We maynot know where is the low/bottom, but after declining 50% of its price fm it' s peak, i guessed the risk and reward commensurates at current lvl. Vested and look fwd for a rebound soon.

I will look at loading this up when prices trade closer to the 0.465 region.  I' m also wondering whether share price got hit so badly because of the current unrest in Jakarta. From external (Western) media, the Ahok plight rates badly for politcal stability.

IMO, If you still hang on, may want to reduce at least half of your portfolio and re-enter at end of June if the situation improves. For BBs, they have no choice and have to slowly offload this counter.

Earning per share is 0.07 cts for 2017, way behind the 11 cts recorded in 2016 and slightly higher than 0.06cts for 2015. Looking ahead, strong headwinds prevails for Jafpa. Its animal feeds division recorded negative profit and Vietnam swine prices continued to be weak. In the words of the management, financial performance for 2017 was subpar. For comparison, the highest price traded for 2015 with EPS of 0.06, is 0.54 cts
