I stated earlier that the big white elephant is the performance gaurantee for those rigs.   FEG recently announced that they are out for 3 of the 4 rigs.   This is a very positive news but stil the price tanked further.   My take is that marker view is that their debt alone can kill them liao.   Those performance gaurantee simply ensure the dead is truly dead. Anyway, gd luck with this one.   Hope it turns out of expectation

Someone is just creating the Fear. Either sell asset but under current situation the sale will be cheap. or Delay/rolled over payment.   Banks will support this move if they actually got plan to raise cash like right issue which can help to pay themselves back later.   So maybe cook up some strategic investors news to give themselves some firepower when negoitaing with noteholders.   After hoaxing noteholder into agreeing, whatever strategic investors can simply cease to fulfil.   Then come   right issue so that they can get back their loan under the name of " working capital" .   If FEG do do right issue, then it will be obvious that you are being forced to pay their banks debt for them.   After the banks get back as much as they can, they might simply stop financing FEG and let it die, if they choose to. Market is currently pricing FEG share for some reason which should be revealed in time. DYDD.

What is 50 million bonds payment to them. CIMB is just a cheap malaysia bank. They have already pledge the CH Off shore shares when taking up loans, So not really an issue. Their current liability is due to the rig payment about 184 million . If they managed to canecel the Rig control, how much you think Falcon still owns . Please do you own calculation. After selling all assets and liability they are still have excess of 300 + million. Today price is stupid.
