All these will feed negatively into the stock market generally.  Jan till 1 week before CNY - Usual market rallies. I am happy with how this is going despite the options issued - It was known all along that this existed as stated in the financial report. Only when they activate it was not known. It is bound to happen sooner or later. Better it happened now than later.

They will wait for natural market forces to play out for a while before deciding the next course of action. Of course this would mean delays to any eventual price targets that they may have, or a downward revision of price targets.  In stock market, there is no fixed TP. It is always a moving target and adjustments have to be made along the way. But based on current patterns and with recent events, the uptrend has not disappeared. Perhaps revisions in TP may be required, but that will still have to be ascertained on when Thomson activates its first convertible bond and the market reaction vis-a-vis what Thomson does to it after activation
