x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I got this answer from my broker. If client calls him say want to sell 1 mil of Seatrium, he will check with him if he has the shares. If no, then the broker needs to indicate in his system ' short' , & execute the trade. By day end, the client has to cover back - that is he has to buy back the 1 mil shares he sold or inform the broker to use the SBL (share borrowing & lending) account to cover that position.
