During the webinar with Philips Securities, Yang said he is not worried of Hostile Takeover even though he owns only 7% shares. This shows there are many hidden things we do not know. Whatever it is, he seems confident he is in control. Hope some good news coming otherwise it is a long wait.

BookmarkKUALA LUMPUR: The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has seized a shipment of 3.97 million nitrile disposable gloves from Malaysia' s Top Glove estimated to be worth US$518,000, on indications they were made by forced labour, it said on Wednesday (May 5). CBP on Mar 29 issued a forced labour finding based on evidence of multiple forced labour indicators in the world' s largest medical glove maker' s production process. It had initially banned products from two of Top Glove' s subsidiaries last July, but extended the ban to all of the manufacturer' s products made in Malaysia in March. The indicators included debt bondage, excessive overtime, abusive working and living conditions, and retention of identity documents, the CBP said in a statement. READ: US Customs determines forced labour at Malaysia' s Top Glove, to seize glovesThe agency then directed personnel at all US ports of entry to begin seizing disposable gloves produced in Malaysia by the glove maker. " CBP continues to facilitate the importation of legitimate PPE needed for the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring that the PPE is authorized and safe for use," Diann Rodriguez, Area Port Director-Cleveland, referring to personal protective equipment. Top Glove said last month its glove production has been affected because of the US ban, and announced last week it had resolved all indicators of forced labour in its operations, citing a report by the ethical trade consultancy it hired. |

The world has awakened to a new era of PPE awareness, especially in the developing countries, so i think there will be a dividend policy in place while we are in a pandemic or post-pandemic world. Logically, the stock price cannot be at this level for long because that will mean there is a high possibility of a hostile takeover. I have only one complaint about the company in terms of their Investor Relations. Really have a lot of room for improvement in this department.

This Owner do not take care of share holders lah. They are normally very stingy. Last year' s div was after a lot of pressure from investors. This year unlikely to match for sure. 1st half likely no dividend. End of year perhaps 2-4 cts ??? My personal opinion |

Annual Div yield is 6.1% .... ? You sure bo? How many years of records are you putting in when you said that statement? Omg ... That's misleading man. If the company can maintain a 5 cents dividends each year, I will put all my money into it, don't need to bother how he share price fluctuate. The problem is, can they maintain at the same rate or same yield for next 3 to 5 years? Will they still make the same amount of sales and profits going into the future? All these determine the dividends yearly, and affect the share prices as investors see will the company be able to maintain profits and returns yearly. Annual dividends of 6.1%. ... That's not easy to maintain at a share price of $1.08. Dyodd.

Of course it does. Those contras who bought 111-113 during these few days kena again from the LH to RH kakias. Currently hefty block at 109, so contras may hv to cut loss at 108 to the BBs for them to collect the CD on 11 may. Whatodo, the usual manipulation. made easier by STI' s hefty drop of -32.
