COMFORTDELGRO TURNS IN FULL-YEAR REVENUE OF $3.5 BILLION &bull Full year Group revenue increased by 9.1% to $3.5 billion as economies staged gradual recoveries. &bull Excluding Government assistance grants, the Group went back into the black with an operating profit of $125.4 million, compared to the full year operating loss of $47.6 million previously. &bull Including the various Government COVID-19 assistance packages which amounted to $84.6 million, the Group registered an operating profit of $210.0 million. &bull Net profit attributable to shareholders increased by 114.0% to $130.1 million. Net profit increase 114% Good set of results! |

The world incl Russia. I expected after the event things will not go out of hand.
Maybe the Russia will have more bargaining chips but to the extend of bringing everyone down... Unlikely. Market don't like uncertainty that's all.

The latest development of the Ukraine crisis showed how the misculculation and mishandling of the crisis by the US and NATO gave Putin the excuses to attack Ukraine. Look like nothing can stop the attack now. Russia will most peobably set up a puppet gov to rule Ukraine after the war.
What the market fear is not the war per se but the after-effects of it on the economy. When supply chain of the most important commodities is cut off by Russia and its puppet Ukraine for a prolonged period, it can send the Western World into a recession. |

This was why I always daid SBS should not be listed and pay dividends to its 'investors'. This is a company with nothing worth investing.
Now I think it should operate like NTUC Fair Price as a corporative which aim to serve the public but not to make profits.

Net profit for the 6 months ended Dec 31, 2021 stood at S$15.2 million, compared with a net profit of S$46.4 million posted the same period a year ago. Without the government reliefs, which comprise mainly of the Jobs Support Scheme, the group would have recorded an operating loss of S$6.3 million for the second half.

Think in the short term, there will be pain.. Long term wise should be good. In the meantime, not advisable to average down. Just wait out this period of turbulence. Cheers .

If war breaks out, all the stock will be affected. Comfort will not be the main one affected, Banks and BC will be badly affected. Bank stocks are now sky high, oso a good thing if they drop a $ or 2, which is still very high | ||||

I was expecting a small rebound today but it turned out to be a big drop for SG market. Reasons I guess could be because Singapore market has been over-bought and needs to correct. More importantly is the fear that US and NATO's sanctions of Russia could cause oil and other commodities prices to sour. The effects of this on the economic recovery we have to see. | ||||

The Ukraine crisis will continue until Russia swallows the entire of it. The threat of war and communications have all failed and did not deliver what Russia wanted. Russia's vanguards are already in the break-away eastern two regions and the only way to stop them from advancing is to give Putin what he wanted, which the US and NATO would not. Putin will not give in, as if he does and withdraw his forces, Ukraine will join NATO instantly.
The offensive / negoriation can take months or years. Any mis-handling / mis-calculation can cause a 3rd WW. |

Look like a perfect cone is in the making. The tip of the cone which is actually 1.52 is not shown on the chart because the fake breakout to 1.52 a few days ago failed within the same day and closed at 1.49.
Today BB was laundrying 1.47 to unload to the FOMO guys to average down. |

Today all who queued to buy 1.49 had fulfilled their wishes because BBs dumped at them about half hour before closing. People who have no patience to queue have bought 1.50 direct.
The closing price was manipulated by robots as ususl. |
