Actually, my advice is not to trade until the trend is clear. Venture has been on a downtrend since it hit the high of $29 plus. Currently, there is a tussle between the bulls and the bears so there could be an attempt to go above 200D SMA. In a downtrend, all rallies are likely to be dead cat bounces (e.g. the rally from $18.50 to $22.90) so to catch them is similar to catching falling knives. Venture needs a lot of institutional buying in order to be on a uptrend again but lately, the institutional players have disappeared. its EPS of 28 cents for the last quarter would mean that its actual price could be close to $15-$16, like what Valiant Varriors has claimed. There could be a dead cat bounce when the prices are close to $18.50 or below. |
