x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Speculators increased their optimism in the WTI Crude Oil futures markets by raising bullish bets for a third consecutive week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Friday. The non-commercial futures contracts of WTI Crude Oil futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net position of 396,459 contracts in the data reported through Tuesday July 18th. This was a weekly increase of 38,434 contracts from the previous week which had a total of 358,025 net contracts. The gain in speculative bets this week brings the bullish bets of the past three weeks to a total of 69,271 net contracts. The overall bullish level is now at the best standing since  April 25th which saw a total of +411,822 net contracts.

At the buy-in share price of 22.5 cents, he was getting the counter at a 47.6 per cent discount to the NAV of 43 cents. The earnings per share was 3.81 cents (excluding CH Offshore), the PE ratio was 5.832 and the dividend yield was 6.6 per cent. He projected a target price of 30 cents, which would translate to a potential 33 per cent upside. One key consideration was that Falcon' s market cap was $182 million versus CH Offshore' s market cap of $348 million. So I am paying $182 million for something that includes a $348 million subsidiary,he said. Mr Lim ' s research showed that the potential catalysts included the majority ownership stake in CH Offshore, which has zero borrowings and had been cash-flow positive for the past decade.   The strengthening United States dollar, the firm' s steady dividend policy of 1.5 cents a year for the past two years and its share buybacks early this year were also seen as positives. The risks include the high gearing and the prolonged weaknesses in the oil and gas sector.   The target price of 50 cents for Lum Chang and 30 cents for Falcon are still at discounts to the companies' approximate NAVs. And given the potential earnings catalysts, there is a good chance that the NAVs might increase in the coming year, added Mr Lim.

FEG Net income FY 2015  S$31.132M, FY 2016  S$42.912M,   LTM ending 31 March 2017  S$23.102M. NC   Net Income FY 2015  S$9.406M,   FY 2016  (S$13.54M), LTM ending 31 March 2017  (S$15.59M). You can ask the same question as well.   How realistic did FEG report its balance sheet.   You can stay on to find out the truth and when it came revealed hopefully not to late.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Very silly.   Oil price is moving up becos US rig count increase has slowed down and market expect another drawdown on US oil inventory tonight.   But they will really be looking at US oil production.   If it decrease you can see Brent touch US$50 tml.   If US production increase, depending on how much, you can see oil price drop again.   Then you see tml most O& G counters come back to Earth. This one no postiive catalysts. from within.   Now see if bondholders   choose to survive now or die later.   They choose to survive, shareholders die.   They choose to die, shareholders die later since before shareholders can get anything back, bank take first.
