x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	With ongoing negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, Zelensky's Servant of the People Party has proposed a new security agreement as an alternative to the country joining NATO. The party believes that in such an agreement, the guarantors may be the United States, Turkey, and neighboring countries ? even including Russia. By signing such an agreement, Russia will allegedly have legal obligations to recognize Ukrainian statehood and refrain from threatening the Ukrainian people and government. The party acknowledges that such an agreement may seem absurd given the current situation, but insists that the new treaty will set out specific steps taken by other guarantor states against the violating party. "The alliance is not ready to accept Ukraine for at least the next 15 years, and it clearly says so. We do not even have support in a completely just war from the alliance - only from individual states." A party spokesperson said. "As it is impossible to join NATO in the coming years, we cannot use only the lines of the Constitution [expressing our desire to join NATO on our] course to the alliance, to defend our country," he said. "The course is politics ? but not weapons, not planes, not state protection." In addition, the party gave assurance that in no case will Ukraine cede its claim to Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk nor agree to any ultimatums on its sovereignty and territorial integrity. "We hear Russia's demand to recognize the so-called "DNR" and "LNR", [Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, and] to recognize the occupation of Crimea." The party claimed. "It is clear that we will not do that. But we need to decide how the lives of people in these territories will be regulated within our integral state."

Russia has said it does not want neighboring Ukraine to join NATO, the transatlantic alliance created at the start of the Cold War to protect Europe from the Soviet Union.

There may be an artificial price ceiling set by the G7 with OPEC such that OPEC countries are happily earning fat margins without disrupting global economies. Cambridge dictionary So, the esitmated TPs are not " Bao Jiak" or " sure win" .  The sis lost 13 pips now based on Panda' s advice, likely the estimated TPs. She should know estimated is not 100% sure kena (win). And, Panda usually also state the cut loss if the trend turns suddenly to get out before incurr more losses.  And if she keeps for long term, there 13 pips dip is " sup sup sway" . x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	More business for CDG-Engie JV ------------- GREENER TRANSPORT  While " significant steps" have been taken to build an efficient and sustainable transport system,  Transport Minister S Iswaran said more must be done to work towards net zero emission.  To this end, a new target has been set -  to reduce Singapore' s land transport emissions by 80 per cent from its 2016 peak of 7.7 million tonnes " by or around mid-century" . This will be a reduction in absolute emissions, Mr Iswaran said. Currently, the land transport system accounts for 15 per cent of Singapore' s emissions today, making it the third-largest source of emissions.  " This is an ambitious goal that will require policy moves, new technologies, and behavioural shifts across our land transport system. Along with the decarbonisation of the power grid, electrification of vehicles is a key initiative that will have a material impact," he said.  Singapore will also accelerate its target of making every HDB town EV-ready by 2025, earlier than its  previous target of the 2030s.  This comes after a major survey of switchrooms and substations across the island conducted by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to assess the additional electrical capacity needed to support EV charging.  Mr Iswaran said the evaluation gave the ministry " confidence" to accelerate the implementation of its plans.  To support the implementation of EV-ready towns, Mr Iswaran said EV charging points will be installed at  nearly 2,000 HDB car parks  over the next three to four years.   Meanwhile, the Government will also continue to work closely with various stakeholders to electrify more vehicle segments, said Mr Iswaran. This includes electrifying half of Singapore' s public buses as well as taxi fleet by 2030, and extending the statutory lifespan of electric taxis from eight to 10 years.
