Lim & Tan: We initiate a BUY recommendation on Geo Energy Resources (Geo) with a TP of S$0.60, based on DCF (WACC: 12.5%).
- Geo is a coalmining company that will benefit from an upcoming state-of-the-art infrastructure development, where we forecast EBITDA levels to triple from US$60mln in FY24 to US$168mln in FY26F upon completion.
- Geo will be able to transport larger volumes of coal more efficiently, save on current tolling costs, and generate additional revenue by charging third-party users. With emerging countries like China and Indonesia still relying on coal for power generation, coupled with President Trump&rsquo s push for increased coal consumption, we believe Geo will remain a beneficiary of sustained coal demand.
- Geo trades at just 5.9x forward P/E with a FY25F/FY26F dividend yield of 5.1%/7.4% respectively, rendering the company an attractive stock to dive into at current levels.

think bbs scooping up 36, not likely becos of sp announcement in tdy agm. as 4q24 results every tom dick and hairy already know. but likely the next qtrly result, ie 1q25 in about a fortnight. this could be game changer, as infrastruct updates, profit trending etc. resinvest 45/50c purchase could look like support level thereafter. who knows in tdy agm, management and bbs could hv their own ' secret' meetings b4 official news are released.. anyway just guessing, like others also., dyodd.

SGX would only accept married deal for a minimum numbers of shares between the 2 parties. One of the reason is also to get it to cover short. But I have no idea what is the minimum quantity
