But because of the green activists, everyone is now so afraid to be involved in coal until coal assets become ridiculously cheap. They mentioned this possibility a couple of times recently. Such an acquisition will deplete the cash hoard and essentially erase any likelihood for bumper dividends. Investors will then have to wait for the new acquisition (if any) to start generating profits before Geo starts paying even more generous dividends than before.
