The myanmar gov delayed for at least 6 months to award the teleco license this year Jan. Ooredoo only started selling sim card this Aug so at least 2 years from now for mDR to mature. Should start seeing gradual growth next quarter onwards.

Another 2.8 billion warrant to be converted...bad that more shares floating...good that more fund for investment. Lets hope for a good 2nd Quarter result...probably when all warrant expires there is plan to consolidate the shares then it will move more easily. Already say that this share must hold 2-3 years, dont be too concern with current share movement if you are in for long term.

They are aggressively expanding Nokia' s product distribution to all over Myanmar. I suspect they could be opening another Nokia store/service center in Mandalay. Also with Ooredoo Myanmar distribution business, we will surely see revenue accelerating in next few quarter result. |

Surge in vol but downwards not a good sign but still see support at 0.008. I wont be surprise price may cheong upwards if it hit 0.007. I dont expect profitable quarter result reason being higher operating cost/rent in sg and myanmar business only starting to accelerate and requires more overhead at start up.

Telecommunication sector is starting to hot up in Myanmar with sim card already on sale. Ooredoo may make annoucement on 2-Aug on official luanch. MPT also giving promotion to fight the competition from Ooredoo. Below some information to share for mDR. 1) Mandalay townships assigned to MDR Golden are: Aungmyaythazan, Chanayethazan, Patheingyi, Madaya, Nagzun, Singu, Pyinoolwin, Thabeikkyin, Mogoke, Tada-U, Sintgaing, Kyaukse, Myittha, Natogyi, Meiktila, Wundwin, Taungtha, Myingyan, Thazi, Mahlaing, Pyawbwe, Yamethin 2) No plans to open Ooredoo retail shop for now. Focus on distributing sim cards. 3) No plans to be Telenor distributor 4) 2nd quarter result 7-Aug. |

mDR defintely a gem and good for long term investment. It is not moving probably due to the hugh share float and warrant expiry in Sept. Probably there may share consolidation which BB want to consider before they come in.

Share price not moving. With such prospect this is not moving at all. Either everyone is waiting to see e actual earnings or we r one of e supers who see a gem n e rest r blind lol . I can only hope lol

The cards were being tested by approved sales agents, she said. The testing " clearly moves Ooredoo one step closer to launch, meaning that for the people of Myanmar the long wait for affordable telecommunications services is nearly over," the firm' s sales director, U Myint Zaw, said in a news released. Mobile phone and information technology retailers in Yangon and Mandalay had been supplied with some of the cards to test the network, the director of one of the companies told Mizzima. " They provided sales agents with SIM cards so the agents could test the strength and weakness of the product and familiarise ourselves with the registration and network activation process," he said He said that for the time being there were limitations on the connectivity of the SIM cards when using the Myanma Post and Telecommunications network and phones with CDMA technology. |
