Other than the usual dividend paying stocks, I have these 2 multi-bagger stocks in my portfolio : 1. IX BioPharma 2. Koh Eco Accumulated a fair bit of both in my SRS account. Once my targets for these 2 are hit, I will be able to provide for my retirement. |

Oiltek rebels are indeed powerful. I think they want to make a statement to management of Koh Eco and Koh Bros - that you have to look after shareholders' s interest when it comes to valuation. Wish we have activist invetsors here like Elliot Investment who can force management to act in the interest of shareholders.

One must ask why the board reject on the idea of shares distribution of Oiltek. There are a few good reasons, 1. Distribution will lose strategic control 2. They may believe Oiltek may have more value ahead (as evident by the recent announcement Oiltek plans to jointly develop a US$350 million sustainable aviation fuel biorefinery in Sabah, Malaysia, with Brunei-based renewable fuel company BioSeaga Industries.) Read in between the lines: " Upon completion, it is expected to position Sabah as one of the largest production centres of the fuel in the region, with the potential to scale into a globally significant hub. &ldquo The board is of the view that the project will enable the group to further deepen its participation in the rapidly expanding sustainable aviation fuel value chain,&rdquo said Oiltek chief executive officer and executive director Henry Yong." Therefore, the higher Oiltek rises, the bigger the valuation gap for both KOH and KOHECO. I wont be surprised such big invesment will require additional balaance sheet financing and the best way is via share placement. Thus, should expect some great news coming from the subsidiary soon. Oiltek should be expect to be at valaution of at min sgd3 to 5 share once the confirmation of the collaboration term sheet is out and we should expect KOH and KOHECO to rise along... As said, this big gap will bring big sharks to come in and buy up to a level that they can influence the outcome of the EGM mandate on shares distribution. So buy it now while is cheap and keep in your closet. Oiltek in time ll be like ifast, " FAST and Furious" ... So will be the mother... |
