Potential 33% upside according to UOb Kay Hian TP of 28 cts. Plenty of meat !!!!!!!, timing important, it will come very very soon. There are many developers (Ah Beng, Ah seng, CDL, Wing Tai, ..etc) doing very badly, Oxley is one of the few doing extremely well this year.

Bro, Agree and disagree. HK Land is good, gives good dividend annually.  However, not sure its impact from Evergrande.    Oxley guranteed next 6 months results is good.  Anyway I viewed one of their condo units, looks classy and very good finishing.

Bro, these have no impact financially as the cost has already been catered under other receivables.  If Oxley won the cases, it would be positively financially.  Anyway, all are minor cases that could happened to any other developers except some chose to setlle them privately. https://links.sgx.com/FileOpen/Clarification.ashx?App=Announcement& FileID=640056

Can u list the legal issues ?,  it depends, sometimes it is good, it shows you dare to defend rather than just give away money.  Of course some may be outright no good.

i like that you' re very optimistic. but until oxley resolves all its legal tussles, i think analysts will be a bit wary to upgrade. reason being so many lawsuits, banks also dont like it, esp when the developer is the defendant (instead of plaintiff). banks take negative view on this. regardless ... hope mr ching can put aside all the squabbles and focus on making everyone $

Why I used CDL as a comparison is very clear.  Oxley has clocked more revenue and sales in FY2021 than CDL, a big conglomerate is a great achievement.  It certainly calls for an upgrade.

The fact that the company is not pushig up its share price despite making money does not mean it is not doing well financially. To be able to get loan from banks means they hv confidence in you. My only concern is that it " throws away" money easily, more transparency is needed.

Let us down play where credit is due.  Profits of about $36million, assuming $10M deducted for taxation and transaction cost which is very high, the net profits is still a very substantial sum of about $25Million. Add that to the profits derived from the remaining $1.7B sales for this year plus the recurring profits of FY2020 sales when TOP, the profits for FY2022 sh be very good. Shares should break the high of FY2021 price of 27 cts easily. DYODD

actually the way i read the phrasing (as we know ox is the highest leverage dev in SG) is that while there is no bank loan per se, highly likely its backed by some sort of credit facility ... so as usual while their announcement on the surface looks correct, there may be some technicalities they never write properly. probably drawdown the funds to purchase the property in cash (so if book value is $60m drawdown full cash since backed by asset guarantee). now sell abt $96m, so the " profit" is only $36m, but this doesnt disclose expenses incurred for holding land and like someone pointed out .. cap gains tax, property tax etc ...no nett figure... can only speculate as to why. just my $0.02

This Ox. Did not indicate the nett proceeds. Surely can computate but don't want to show. Capital gain tax is high over at Australia. And it is the gain over Cost, not book value. . . So how much capital gain tax to pay? | ||||

Oxley divests Sydney property for $96.3 millionOxley Holdings announced on Sept 21 that it has divested the land parcels at 173-177 Walker Street, North Sydney, Australia.The group will be receiving gross proceeds of approximately $96.3 million, less payments for taxes and transaction costs.  The property had a book value of approximately $60 million as at June 30, 2020. As there is no outstanding bank loan secured by the asset, the entire amount of the net proceeds will contribute positively to the cashflow of the group. The sale is expected to have a material impact on the expected earnings per share of Oxley for financial year ending June 30, 2022.   |
