x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Embrace turbulence ahead. Investors still apprehensive watz the magnitude of the bank exposure. IMHO, earnings and fwd guidance (if any) wl.not be good. Likewise their dividend payout. Least mentioned any deferment citing examples fm standchart & HSBC. Will hv downside risks given unfavourable conditions yet to be seen.

ING and and ABN Amro both said in statements that they were suspending dividends until October 1 at least, while Rabobank said it would not make any payments to certificate holders in March, June and September. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	dividend is defer or reduced or cancelled ??? only time will tell. my believe there is no reason to reduce, since < 60% of eps is paid as dividend. on 23 feb dbs group issue us$1b  perpetual capital securities at 3.3 per cent use about sgd0.5b for share buy back.  shares were paying 5-7 percent dividend in those ranges. and lots of it below nta. so i think dbs created shareholders value in those buy back.
