I think a lot of buying is due to short covering as short 50%, 44% and 45% in 3 consecutive days has failed to depress the price and price bonice back on the third day. As I have said before they should NOT have shorted at that time. So strong now and it would better to take some profit. This counter attracts a lot lot short selling and tend to limit daily gain.

Not true! Aggressive short sell tends to encourage more profit taking behavior. This the reason why many sold too early and miss out more profit.

Believe, SGX makes on the difference between the lending/borrowing rates. Hence they make money either way. (SBL Pool and normal trading activities) hence they don't care
Higher ups should tax more for those who borrow and money goes to their coffers for the benefit of all
