That's very trusting of the management for the vendor or the management is not doing their jobs becoz they don't do any due diligence before putting their money in. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Mining stock usually has not been very transparent in their dealings and is usually base on the honesty of the management. Most of times....their mines are so far out and hard to put a value on it. In fact, it maybe just a hole in the ground in the middle of nowhere. Normally is huge gamble to invest....in such stock. May turn out to be a scam....and lose every penny invested if that's proof to true. At the same time if they hit a rich vein whatever rare minerals during their digging then it may even rocket to the sky too. My 2 cents is don't put all the eggs in a single basket....esp mining stocks!! The important thing is to buy as cheap as possible.

I copy and paste the 2nd last paragraph of the article here:   On July 18, ISR released a technical report that said the Madagascan concession was worth US$1.08 billion ($1.5 billion). According to the report, Soviet geologists had scoped out the area in 1988. Work so far has focused on " outlining resources" . The report did not say whether actual commercial production ever commenced. The concession has changed hands at least twice.   Would you agree that there was no report in 1988 that you referred to in your question #2? But 40 mil paid without getting any updated report prior to it is not logical also. 3rdly, why pay 40 mil for 60% concession when reo magnetic only paid 5.6 mil? Any basic intelligence would tell u this is a bad deal for isr. Also since isr own the 40% beforehand. I suppose they bought it at a much much cheaper price. So why r they willing to buy 60% at the sky high price? More than 4. bil shares was issued. Since the share price alrwdy increased many folds, I can only think that some ppl already make millions if not billions. From who? From retail investors probably who bought and chase this counter out of greed. If the day comes when ppl decided to liquidate their holding to get the real cash fortune, the tsunami will come very fierce and all retail investors better get some floats in order not to get drowned. do urself a favour by checking on the status of the rare earth mining when isr intend to start, etc. But whatever they say u have no way to check because the mine is so far away... story will become more interesting if it turns out that isr boss and reo magnetic boss r both friends.. lol
