Ok so 175millions shares are pledged to banks. Assuming pledged at 55cts, then the value of the collateral is about $96mil. Something probably wrong with the margin account. Maybe lose $$$ in speculation? and hit a margin call. This happened on 16 March when price dropped from 52.5cts to 35cts on 0.5mil volume only. So when computer mark to market the value, the account value @35cts is only about $61mil. A short fall of $35mil plus whatever losses that sparked off the initial sold down on 16 March. This is where collateral damage comes. All margin accounts register a BIG RED negative account values. Positions are forced closed, collateral are liquidated. Whether the all the forces sold covers the losses, I don' t know but the CEO lose 28% of his company in a few days and the CEO worth dropped from $200mil to $18mil based on his remaining stake and price of 8.3cts. Now if not all that $35mil has been recovered by the banks, then the CEO might have to give up more of this shares to cover the shortfalls. As mentioned earlier, the values of his remaining stake are only worth $18mil. If yesterday average force sold price is 15cts =ave(24cts+6.8cts), then banks told back $18mil. Assuming today all 55mill sold at average of 8.3cts, then bank recovered another $4.5mil, leaving $12.5mil to be recovered. So is there a possibility of another force-sell? I don' t know. |

Honestly, banks sell down to shock outsiders... the insiders bought back with their personal funds u also won' t know. All wait until storm over sell out many times over the cost :x

SINGAPORE (March 22): Shares in OKH Global shares rebounded on Tuesday after plunging nearly 80% the previous day. By 1.24pm, the stock had risen 25% from the previous close to 8.9 cents. Some 216.8 million shares changed hands, making OKH the most active counter on the bourse. Monday' s decline was caused by massive forced selling by UBS AG Singapore and Bank Julius Baer of some 119.8 million pledged shares of the company' s executive chairman and CEO, Bon Ween Foong. |
