Result good, but not fantastic, especially given the high expectations being drummed up over the last few mths. I believe though that, going forward, Vtronics shd perform better. This coy epitomises what I see as HK coys' ruthlessness in driving improvement in the bottomline year after year. They have again shown how disciplined they are in managing their finances even as they tweaked their product mix to counter-balance an increasingly competitive CE environment. If, as they have guided, ICE continues to provide the new engine of growth, n they are also able to turn CE around, this is likely to bring about substantial upside to the share px in the next 1-2 yrs. For now though if the current result is seen as below expectation, share px is unlikely to cross 64c as some had hoped for, but shd remain at the current level supported by a strong dividend yield. In the meantime, mkt regulators shd be urged to come down hard on analysts who produce wishy-washy reports. This is a country that is proud to thrive on quality for sustainability. There shd be no place for half-baked stuff. Investors shd let MAS know this loud n clear.

Hi, Although the dividend is still the same as last year but as the HK$ is pegged to the US$, so since the US$ has appreciated, so has the HK$. Once the dividend is converted back (SGD 1: 5.78 HKD), it should be slightly higher. At the current share price of $0.515, the dividend return is around 6.5-6.8%. Moreoever the company has stated that their industry still looks bright, so quite a good potential counter. Just my 2 cents' worth and thanks for reading! |

I thought the results was good since it perform as well as last yr.. dividend given same.. consider what the kimeng vietnam gal says, valuetronics did good.. like to take this chance again to scold the Vietnam gal lol

Results out. Don' t think it' s fantastic. Just abt making it to the finishing line unscathed. May disappoint some. Div same as last yr. Let' s see how shares will respond.

Supermarket LED lights talk to smartphone app Will this, in time, find wider application, eg, in offices, at home, etc, n will the technological advancement help Philips regain some competitiveness in the LED space? More importantly for Valuetronics, will it have the capability to mass produce such LED for Philips? |

.the dividends to be given for FYE 31 March 2015 will support the counter even if results not that bad..if same or even better than last year will see Valuetronics soaring

Should be full year results not quaterly as its financial year end is 31March 2015.the drop from high 52-53 is expected as it shot past 50cts not long ago and the retracement is expected as current weakness in overall market saw the STI brought down below 3500 and weakness in china market.So long as 50-50.5cts hold I think it may test its high of 59cts set in Sept 2014 and break its high too if results exceed expectations and dividends maintain,Valuetronics will rise again..at current price still not expensive,better than putting in bank to earn interest
