But of course STE at this level looks a good value - has always been billed as a defensive stock. Still, be prepared to hold it longer in case mkt might not go up much - worse if it goes down further, maybe kena hold even longer although won' t die one.

Brother, be a bit careful. This mkt will continue to be volatile cos people are exploiting the oil theme to play stocks up no down. Try to guard against getting wrong footed.

ST Engr at current price of $2.74 is about PE 16.11 times seems quite a good price to accumulate for its dividend yield of above 5+%. A good defensive counter that is able to secure new contracts consistently. ST Engineering: Aerospace Arm To Collaborate With Sojitz Corporation In Aircraft Leasing.16 Feb 2016 17:35 Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd announced that ST Aerospace Resources Pte. Ltd. has signed an agreement to divest 50% of its equity stake in Keystone Holdings (Global) Pte. Ltd. to SJ Aviation Capital Pte. Ltd., a Singapore based subsidiary of Sojitz Corporation, for a consideration estimated to be US$10.7m, approximately $15.3m. The consideration, which will be finalised at completion, was arrived at, taking into account Keystone Holdings' current performance and net asset value. Upon completion, ST Aerospace Resources and SJ Aviation Capital will each own a 50% shareholding in Keystone Holdings... Good News ? |
