Nam Cheong tried to hold back any cash they have in their various account but announced yesterday that DBS is taking the money from their ISRA account to make coupon and partial principle payment to noteholders. Good news for Nam Cheong noteholders. Will FEG noteholders get the same treatment? FEG shouldnt be so selfish to hold back any cash that they can come out with to repay those noteholders. FEG mgmt shold also take a serious pay cut to show their sincerity. Damn selfish to always want others to take a hair cut while they dont want to cut any of theirs. |

FEG just announced asking for extension of FY results to be on or before 29 Oct but after solicit exercise with noteholders. Very obvious note holder holds the key to their survivial liao and FEG want noteholders to agreed to their debts conveneant waivers without them knowing their results first. Ohhhhh..... very clever hor....but also very obvious liao??? Luckily for existing FEG holders, CHOffshore still mananged to release it FY resutls today with impairment! Now got some number to work on for FEG impairment as well. CHO imparied about 25% of their vessels. Since FEG buyout CH Offshore on reasons of synergies, then we can assume similar level of impairment on their PPE so looking at about US$75mil. Maybe more, maybe less, depending on how prudent FEG wants liao. So with the US$40 that was for another reason then we might be looking at US$115ml losses this FY. The actual number will only be out in 2 months times. Hope we do get to see them. In the meantime, trade with care. |
