You need to sell planes to recalibrate future demand. We' re not going to see normalized air travel demand anytime soon. Underutilized planes are a bugbear for airlines. They' ll bleed the company of much needed cash.

The hole caused by COVID-19 is too big to patch and probably could collapse the airline unless urgent wc is provided. That' s why Warren Buffet confessed that he made a big mistake investing in aviation shares and exited ALL the company' s stakes in 4 US airlines worth US$7 to 8 billion and some at a substantial loss. TH is always the hero. (But at least it bail out a Singapore company, not another US company). Good luck

Histoy does not always repeat but it sure does rhyme. Since NLB digital books are free, i wanted to read one of the several copies of Fredrick Allens " Only Yesterday" a book about the 1920s. I guess a lot of people had my idea too read that book to see how the Flu Pandemic of 1918 was followed by the " Roaring Twenties" . But all copies taken so in queue but found this article that sheds light on this subject.
