Also, unfortunately, I am vesteed, so also trapped. The company presently is cash rich, but I am worried that they will burn all the cash chasing stupid ventures like gloves and solar energy where many better and more experienced people than them have been in for a long time. Sigh, wait and see.

Now all come out talk down lor. Where is that Joker? The one say medtecs is the leader in ppe, confirm at least 40mil profit by year end, and keep say covid time they dont make money who make money. The one make loss is this so called leader in ppe, worse than those glove counter where they only suffer profit plunge. I have told, all these covid cases and what delta omicron talk are useless. Talk more about cash cow company la. Firstly they are not like very heavy cash, and now they are already start burning it. Making losses and pay those Yang directors. Now going invest in glove and solar energy and where both of them are already late. Same old management same old story... too bad last time joker akasa never appear early otherwise i will hold the short position longer. Like i said go against people like him can never go wrong | ||||

Oh my. MT will report a loss. They hv to make a loss provision for their inventory. They should just put a full stop at that. They should not have to venture to gloves and solar power. That two sectors are too crowded and have low barrier. And they are going to seek shareholder?s approval. What a sore thumb. | ||||

They say they are going to diversify into gloves and renewable energy e.g. solar. Frankly, I am not impressed, both these areas are crowded, and they are a little late to the party. |

Yea, looks bad. From the statement below, they are saying that they are going to sell at below cost price for their existing inventory (which are usually recorded at costs). Likely also mean that they are not cost efficient and cannot produce cheap enough to sell at a profit already. " The net loss for 4Q2021 was mainly due to inventory provisions for personal protective equipment (PPE) amounting to approximately US$3 million arising from the lower average selling prices for PPE in the current global market."

Poor performance in 4Q has alrdy been expected by many, otherwise price would not hv dropped from $1 in last May to now just 30.5cents. Even TW players hv been downing the price. Kongsi is fundamentally vely strong, hi nva, hi cash in hand, no debt, but sadly management poor foresight about marketting condition. Overstocked inventory, have to clear cheap to destock. Wat a joke.   |
