if covid pills together with vaccines are able reduce the hospitalisation and infection rates, seat belt on.
Hopefully, covid pills efficacy results can be known before the year. fingers crossed.

 Alert Admin 		Slash pay for what? We shareholders have bankrolled them up to at least middle of next year, so they can take their time to turn around.

Quarter-on-quarter improvement in cargo and passenger traffic on network growth, but q-on-q operating loss increased by 25%. Only to be expected, as they increase operations, operating costs will go up, especially with passenger load factor remaining below 20%. Pre-covid, their breakeven PLF was 80%.

Looks like a really v v long haul to profitability, despite the positive spin they are giving. Carriers like Lufthansa and Qantas are already profitable, and will be eating up SIA' s market share for lunch, if covid is not controlled fast enough and borders fully reopened.

 Alert Admin 		Still having horrendous losses, and Q2 was worse in terms of losses than Q1 2022.  Goodness, are they going to slash or cut the pay of pilots and senior management staff?  These must be contributing to the big losses.

US economic data around Dec 2021 will be a major factor of risk. 

My guess is most will just sell off to take profits first and buy back again at a lower price at $5 and below.

Most Malaysians will prefer to take the road than via Air Travel to go back hometown. Those who take air travel are most likely live in KL, penang.

 Alert Admin 		a lot depend on passenger traffic figures resulting from VTL (more coming) and the approval of merck and pfizer pill in nov/dec.

VTL creates a Temp hype. Still not enuf for SIA to recover to pre-covid-19 times. Reality will sets in towards Dec 2021 when more US data will be released. 

Let' s see if it will hit $4.95.

i having been waiting at $5-5.10 haha. a lot of support at $5.19-5.2.
my view is it will take a lot of bad news for sia to drop further.
FA investors will only come in when they see better passenger figures which will be next year.
Surprised to note britain has approved merck pill despite some fears. usa and eu likely to follow which should move the mkt.
