I also think but problem is it will be in super red when we don't subscribe the rights entitlements plus those who are willing to subscribe, has the same view to wait for the Keppel corp merger. Or SCM will have to wait for oil price to goes up. Have to wait for 6 to 12 months at least to see the fruits after the rights subscription. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Looking thru the last 7 qtrs of SCM  losses, it was terrible, a ship sinking fast and faster. Out of the 7 qtrs, only 1 gain on 1Q2019, and even on that qtr the gain was miserabe, not even 0.1cps. The arrangement may not be the best option, but without it, it will just cont to sink to the sea bed in more qtrly losses that will get worse and worse. Anyway, when the rights are given, and if attrractive to buy, will grab some. With Tema Kong supporting thereafter, think it will cont to rise, not sink lah. Just opinion.

SMM could do a private placement to temasek or SCI or any other entity in order to repay the loan. If private placement to sci, thr result is the same. Sci could write off the debt and cut off smm by distributing smm shares to sci shareholders. The result is massive dilution of smm shares, without even giving smm shareholders a chance to average down. Sci and temasek could also opt to vote, amd do what they want. But instead, they are managing this rather " kindly" already. There could be so many ways to do this, but they tried to do it in the fairest possible way.
