Gold rose to $3,164 per ounce, a new record high as risk aversion increased following President Trump' s tariff announcement. Trump outlined a 10% baseline tariff on imports from all countries, with higher rates for nations with trade surpluses, including China (34%), the EU (20%), and Japan (24%), and a 25% tariff on foreign-made automobiles. He presented a chart comparing the tariffs these countries impose on U.S. imports, with reciprocal tariffs set to take effect. Trump claimed the measures would boost domestic manufacturing and reduce trade deficits. Also, gold was supported by expectations of rate cuts, central bank buying, and strong demand for gold-backed ETFs, with China&rsquo s ETF adding 233,000 ounces. Weak U.S. jobs data and a disappointing manufacturing report have shifted investor focus to Friday&rsquo s nonfarm payrolls for further insight into the Fed' s policy outlook.

 Alert Admin 		IMO if CNMC is upgraded to the mainboard more brokerage firms will have coverage on it and the target prices can be $0.55 and above. 
Hold on tightly to this precious yellow metal and do not sell.

Morgan Stanley: Gold Could Reach $3,400 an Ounce in 2025

With such a forecast, CNMC FY2025 net profit would easily double! 
Therefore it' s share price could shoot past 40c by next reporting with superb positive profit warning from the management. Investors can expect higher dividend as well. Likely, CNMC can be admitted into the SGX mainboard, n bigger funds can flow in to buy.

Many delisted from Mainboard, so SGX cannot be choosy, in fact, it should write to CNMC to invite CNMC to be auto upgraded to Mainboard, not many gold miners in Mainboard, so CNMC will be the gem in Mainboard !!!

PhillipCapital' s Paul Chew and Liu Miaomiao have initiated coverage on CNMC Goldmine Holdings, with a " buy" call along with a target price of 49 cents.
 
In their April 1 note, the analysts believe that the Malaysia-based gold miner is likely to see earnings grow by 46% y-o-y to US$17.9 million for its current FY2025 ending Dec 31, thanks to both higher production volume and gold prices.
 
" Gold prices have remained at multi-year highs since the beginning of 2024, and the market remains bullish on the 2025 outlook amid heightened geopolitical tensions and aggressive central banks purchase," state Chew and Liu.
 
" CNMC stands to be a key beneficiary, selling gold at spot prices. We expect the average selling price to increase by at least 18% y-o-y to US$2,900," they add.
 
In addition, the analysts see CNMC as a leveraged play on rising gold prices, as it ramps up production capacity this year onwards. They estimate the company to generate $34 million per year in free cash flow over the next ten years, implying a free cash flow yield of 24%.
 
Assuming the dividend payout ratio is kept at at least 40%, this translates into a yield of 5.6%. 
 
Their target price of 49 cents is based on 10.3x FY2025 earnings.
