Investors subscribed the IPO because of his name or based on fundamentals? This is a willing buyer, willing seller market. Port operations have changed over the years, i.e. fundamentals have changed. This explains the dismay performance of the company. He was then left with 25% stake on that day.  Since then, it has crashed downhill all the way, setting yet another All-Time LOW today at $0.153. The stock price has been crashing since the first day 7 years ago from US$1.01.  And today is the All-TIME LOW  of 30 US Cents : 18 Mar 2011 US$1.01 end-2011 US$0.62 end-2012 US$0.79 end-2013 US$0.67 end-2014 US$0.69 end-2015 US$0.53 end-2016 US$0.44 end-2017 US$0.41 today US$0.30 Also did a check on Analyst Recommendations in 2018: Broker' s take: OCBC upgrades Hutchison Port Holdings Trust to ' buy'   TUE, FEB 06, 2018 - 11:35 AM OCBC Investment Research has upgraded its rating on Hutchison Port Holdings Trust (HPH Trust) from " hold" to " buy" , raising its fair value estimate of the counter from US$0.42 to US$0.43. Broker' s take: OCBC Investment Research sees HPHT selldown as overblown THU, JUN 07, 2018 - 11:02 AM The brokerage has lowered its fair value target on the stock from US$0.43 to US$0.375, reflecting a higher cost of equity. But it has kept its " buy" call on the counter, noting that the current trading levels represent a distribution yield of more than 8 per cent for HPHT' s fiscal 2018.
