they seem to have a long term formula for earnings and dividends which over the long run only pays out 25% of dividends and reinvests 75% into the next plot. So if u take 32c EPS, 25% is 8c. they paid out 4 or 5*1c during the past few years while shareholders waited so that means only 2 or 3c hahaha. I hope they can be more generous since this will be their biggest ever record profit.

but that is next february' s announcement unless they decide to pay something out at August H1 results announcement (assuming TOP in H1 2025). Double dividend from 1c to 2c should be no issue (they have paid 1.85c on lesser profits before in FY2019) but it is too little and would be an insult to shareholders. My personal expectation is net profit for FY2025 may be pretty close to current share price of 33c ie > 130m.

Interest rates falling, share price likely to recover gradually.
Just missed out on Margaret Drive GLS, means they would be searching for the next plot, likely at a higher land quantum than North Gaia. If the Margaret Drive bid is any guidance. Which also means dividend payout would be lesser. :) |
