Retailer who jumped in later are caught in the aftermath. Target price range from lowest : UOB Kayhian $14.46, RHB Invest $15.10, DBS Research $15.90 and lastly CIMB $16.78 More targeted higher than the current traded price. I would say Venture Corp is very stable to invest for long term. Don't have to be bothered with the daily fluctuations too much if keeping long term. Venture is one of the most trusted manufacturers.

Looking through EDB' s news articles, med tech is now a serious category. We have 60 med tech companies headquartered here compared to 30 just a few years ago. So it' s no surprise when Venture says " Our products ... such as ventilators and high throughput qPCR and dPCR equipment for testing, monitoring and automating workflow processes, including those used for sample prep, library prep, next-gen sequencing and the related supply chains, are in strong demand." I copied that from the 1Q earnings annoucement. If we look at the past 2 years, the company seems to have gone ex-growth. Ie, sales is flat. What we can see though is when it hits upon a " hot" product, the sales and earnings goes up substantially. They' ve done a good job with adding value, so margins have grown nicely/ stayed firm and cash flow is strong (ie good dividends). The med tech companies headquartered here like Thermofisher, Illumina, have all come up with cautiously optimistic guidance for the short term (no one has visibility for longer than that). Their share prices have all performed well. Even Philip Morris is guardedly optimistic. Taking all that together, I think Venture won' t do too badly.
