But Singtel is certainly a good long term dividend stock to have Commodity shld be on recovery with growth coming esp from China and India . Captial gain from Wilmar can be good. As mentioned, sugar and CPO prices are the big drag.  CPO prices are close to its bottom...honestly how much lower ? If ( if i say ) Wilmar goes below $3 .....it dividend payout wld be rising interesting at current 10c. ( higher yield ) Not many commodity counters offer this yield.  Further the China listing is the catalyst for capital gain. DYODD ...certainly for longer term investing ( no comment on trade) Happy investing. Assuming this Q is also flat compared to 2016, wilmar full year will still end up with +9/+90 respectively.. with Div around the corner i think there could be upside seeing the share price didnt rally (usually funds will push it up to sell if there are bad news)..  ​ vested at samll amounts.
