A good day for Dow, up by 3.29%, last Friday, but not for Apple stock.

Singapore tax already lowest. Oxfam want Singapore to increase tax to fund subsidies to the poor.
Singapore ranked 86 in the agency?s 2017 CRI Index, with Oxfam partly attributing this year?s sharp drop to the introduction of a new indicator on "harmful tax practices". There' s no winner in trade war, China and US will not concede to each other' s demands as long as they can bear the loss caused by reciprocal high tariffs. Many believe US President Trump will change his protectionist stance if majority of US citizens start opposing his tariff policy on Chinese products, then that may not necessarily be the case. That' s b' cos developed countries such as US have followed deflation policies for years, to some extent, weaken the impact of inflation caused by tariff hikes. No wonder Trump has even declared, wrongly though, that the US is winning the tariff war.
